Tapi pada rilisan terbarunya "Don't Call Me Pretty," penyanyi-penulis lagu membuang kebaikan palsu dan bahkan teman palsu.

Melansir Rollingstone, dalam sebuah pernyataan, Gayle mendeskripsikan single tersebut sebagai "upaya untuk mengabadikan momen-momen frustrasi ketika saya merasa diobjekkan dalam pertemanan saya, melalui internet, dan secara umum dalam hidup".
